Rooted Magazine has just reached a special milestone since we launched in December, 2022: we now have over 500 email subscribers and over 2,000 followers on Instagram. Mississippi voices and stories are being read across 37 states and 11 countries. This would be not be possible without our incredible contributors and thoughtful readers. To celebrate, we are giving away TWO signed new release books by Mississippi writers: a copy of Stalking Shakespeare: A Memoir of Madness, Murder, and My Search for the Poet Beneath the Paint by Rooted contributor Lee Durkee, and a copy of Katy Simpson Smith’s novel The Weeds.
